Changelog and roadmap
What changed, newest first, and what is planned.
Planned
- Name the vessels: a quiz that shows a projection and asks you to identify the artery.
- Bone view: a more realistic, unsubtracted image with bone.
- More patients and variants: the TopBrain release has 25 cases; absent ACom or one-sided PCom are not in the viewer yet.
- Reference cine: fuller real DSA sequences for comparison.
- Turkish interface.
Changelog
Atlas territories and C-arm
Supply territories now follow the Johns Hopkins Arterial Atlas, with the nearest branch of the vessel graph choosing the owner. An interactive C-arm window next to the angle map: drag it to RAO or LAO and cranial or caudal, double-click for AP. It is linked to the sliders, the angle map, the angiogram and the 3D view. Ischemic Stroke tab (renamed from Territories): an occlusion bar at the top, an axial reference slice, MCA superior and inferior divisions, and new occlusion sites (M1 distal, M2 superior and inferior, lenticulostriate, medial striate). Anatomy workspace with focus lenses, section planes, Brodmann areas, cerebellar lobules, insula and sulci, and a brain silhouette. Visual pathway tab.
Site pages
About, Author, How it was made, Sources and licenses, Limits and disclaimer, Feedback and this page, a top bar, and a short intro for first-time visitors.
Anatomy layers, visual pathway and venography
Brodmann areas, white matter pathways, thalamic nuclei, insula, cerebellar lobules and main sulci, with a focus-lens interface. The visual pathway with the optic radiation as fibre streamlines and a lesion simulator with visual field charts. Venography as its own mode with a drainage-based timing model. Arterial territories and a stylized infarct. Open to search engines, with a sitemap, Markdown version and content preferences for crawlers.
Venous phase and better branches
Venous phase from the VENAT atlas and the TopBrain CT. The generated distal branches were rebuilt from real DSA statistics, follow the sulci and are on by default.
First version
Vessel graph from the TopBrain case, brain from the MNI152 template and atlases, 3D view linked to the C-arm, simulated DSA with contrast flow, angle map, Real DSA comparison from the DIAS dataset, sources and disclaimer.
